Current username: My Tiny Mustard
Character’s name: Jareth Shoultz
Character’s approx. age: 16
Character’s physical appearance: Short blond hair, with light blue eyes that seem almost lavender sometimes. Cream-colored skin and a lanky body. Common posture is relaxed and comfortable. His smile lights up his face like nothing else, but he can also display an expression of complete calm at the same time. It comes absolutely natural to him.
Character's personality: Is rather laid-back and goofy. Just wants to have fun. His laugh is loud and infectious because he is so easily amused. When he puts himself into something, he can become consumed with it and be very serious, but he often doesn't. He loves preforming arts, but sometimes gets carried away and ends up having fun hanging out with his friends more than he actually participates. One of his drawbacks is something that contrasts his gentle southern nature; he is entirely protective of his friends and family, even to the point where he judges too harshly.
Two-paragraph sample post:

“And, you guys, since you don't have hips, just... pretend like you do.” the teacher said, her dark skin shimmering with the light that poured into the dance studio, reflecting off of the bright-colored wood of the floor. The surface was smooth and polished, making the effect of the sun almost blinding when looked at directly.
Jareth, standing at the back of the room in his normally comfortable way, raised his hand with a smile that made all his friends around him roll their eyes and laugh. “Um, teacher, I have a problem.” he said, his words morphed by his smile and the fact that he was on the edge of laughing at what he was about to say. “My hips don't lie.” The whole class burst into laughter, even those two girls that had just started coming and acted really quiet and shy. Jareth's grin spread all the way across his face as he heard it, and he himself broke into a loud laugh.
The teacher turned and looked at him with an amused eyebrow raised. “Thank you, Jareth.” she said, and went on trying to teach the class. Jareth looked at his friends each in turn, still laughing a bit, and – with the eye contact – making all of them laugh as well. It wasn't that he liked to disturb the teacher. He really liked coming here. But... he liked to have fun more, that was all. He liked to see people happy.
When things got too serious – or Jareth just saw an opportunity – he would say or do something absolutely ridiculous. It was just what he loved to do; speak his mind whenever something came to mind. It was one of the reasons he was so comfortable with himself.
There was rarely a dull day at musical theatre class. And he liked to think it was his doing.
