Erin Spenser
"Where's niisan?" she pouted, then lifted her shirt enough to see her stomach in scattered thought.
"He's not in there.." Yukito said, touching her exposed stomach and making Erin squeal into giggles as she nudged him playfully.
"I wanna get my bellybutton pierced," she declared, thoughts bouncing around again. "It'd look so cute when we go swimmin' in the shummer..." She looked over at Yukito for approval, grinning and giggling more when he cocked his head at her.
"You always look cute in the summer. I think we should..."
"Let's go now!" Erin took a hold of Yukito's hands and hopped back to her feet, swaying even as she held them, still giggling. "I wanna go now, Yuyukuuun... Where'd he go?" she tacked on, distracted again.
"I... don't know?" Yukito said, cocking his head sideways even more, making Erin's giggles keep growing. "I dunno. I dunno? Hm..."
"I love you..." Erin declared, dizzyingly drawing herself to him. "Gah-jou're fine... didjou know thah..? I feel woozy, Yuyukun.... There's face in my hair."
Yukito made a face like he'd just heard something terrible, and she started laughing again. "What? Where!?"
His question passed over Erin, who was now occupied with searching for something to make music. It was waaay too quiet!
As if he'd read her mind, Yukito let out a strangled, unidentifiable sound making Erin whip back around to see him and sending her head into a stumbling dizziness. She heard his quiet "...Hi," that sent her into another little series of laughs. "What're you doin'?" she giggled out, then returned her attention to the guy that claimed being Kagayaki's dad. "S'that do music?" she asked, pointing a finger at the camera he'd had when he'd opened the door. "Ooooh." A camera... duh...
"Happy, imouto?" Kagayaki asked, making Erin giggle more, catching his shoulder for a moment for balance.
"Can I play with it? Pleeease?" Erin pleaded, regaining her balance enough to push her palms together. "I wanna use the cayam'ra. I'll be it to good, I sweeeaarrr!"
Aidousan said something that Erin couldn't understand and laughed. "Hey, stop talkin' 'bout me! I cain't un'erstan you!" she pouted lightheartedly. "Sure thing, just don't break it. I want my money back for it." Erin's eyes lit up at the permission. "Really?!" she squealed excitedly.
"Feel free. I'm not up to being the director right now."
Erin snagged the camera, completely elated, and turned it around a few times in her hands until she recognized the screen, squealing excitedly and bouncing on the balls of her feet. "'S'it on? Hey!" She shouted without meaning to be so loud, turning around and held it out to Kagayaki. "Hey, 's'it on? I wanna video...." Erin fiddled with the buttons until the screen lit up, and she squealed happily again. "Yay!" Erin shrieked when the red dot signifying a recording came on. She turned it around so the camera could see herself. "Hiii! I'mma show you stuff," she told the theoretical audience. She turned it clumsily over to Kagayaki. "Say hiiii!" Erin giggled. "Happy birthdaaay! I love you! Let's be best friens f'rever, 'kay?"
Erin turned her attention to Yukito, who was ranting in the phone about things that didn't make sense to her. "Yuyukuuuun!" she called, forgetting the camera was still recording as she let it swing by her side. She stole the phone from him and put it to her ear. "Who'zzat? Hey, who'zzat?" She looked at the phone, squinting as if it would help her to read the Japanese. Erin held it up to him. "I cain't read it. Hey, Yuyukun, look, I got a cayam'raaaa!" She held it up so the camera caught his face. "You're so freakin' beautiful, I love you.... Oh! Hey!"
As Erin scrambled back onto the table--for a better vantage point, of course-- Kagayaki shouted something, making Erin rush to pan the camera on him, crashing into laughs. "Niisaaaaan! Wave at me! I'm taller'n ev'ryone now! Hey! Hey! Lookit me, y'all!" she demanded, shooting a very crooked look in Yukito's direction. "Hey, I gotta 'nouncemen'!" She turned the camera around to herself and pretended to clear her throat dramatically, all the while trying to keep from falling off her spot on the table. "Me 'n' Yuyukun are gonna run away 'n' mit garried," she drawled. "M'kay? Hey, Yuyukun, let's run 'way to Ve--" Her words turned into a squeal as she stumbled backwards and tried to catch herself too late. Her ankle tilted inside at a strong angle, but Erin didn't notice.
She did notice she was on the floor, though. The entire situation made her burst into perpetual giggles. The camera had left her hands for somewhere, and she felt like she was spinning too fast. A tiny throb started in her ankle. "Oww...." Erin turned her face to try to find Yukito, but it was harder than she'd thought. "'M'onthefloor," she slurred, still unable to quit giggling. "Floor's nice... Hey, Yuyukun, I think my foot hurts.... I broke it! I'm gonna die!" she cried loudly, laughing harder than before.

Yukito Maki
"She kisses me real well, dad. I can't even hear you anymore." He knew pretty well what he meant by that, but it was too much work to organize it in his head. He started to hum, continuing, "I can't even hear you any...isn't that great? She really good..."
"Yuyukuuuun!" Erin interrupted, taking the phone from him, "Who'zzat? Hey, who'zzat?" He laughed as she squinted at the screen, struggling to sort it out. He didn't help her out any. He was too dizzy to remember who it was, anyways. All he knew was that whoever it was, it didn't matter. She handed it back to him, and he set it beside him on the couch, immediately forgetting about it completely. "I cain't read it. Hey, Yuyukun, look, I got a cayam'raaaa!" She held it up so he could see and his hands automatically went up to shield it off in case it got too close and clocked him. "You're so freakin' beautiful, I love you....” He made a face at the camera, sticking out his tongue and pulling down on his left eyelid with his hand and making a sound deep in his throat. ”Oh! Hey!" He frowned as she moved away from him again. Erin was quick to clamber back onto the table and started to wave the camera around wildly. "Niisaaaaan! Wave at me! I'm taller'n ev'ryone now! Hey! Hey! Lookit me, y'all!"/b] she demanded, shooting a very crooked look in Yukito's direction. "Hey, I gotta 'nouncemen'!"
“A what?” he wondered aloud as she turned the camera on herself. "Me 'n' Yuyukun are gonna run away 'n' mit garried," she drawled.
“Garried? But young we're too....ehh..”
"M'kay? Hey, Yuyukun, let's run 'way to Ve--" Her words turned into a squeal as she stumbled backwards and tried to catch herself too late. Yukito jumped involuntarily at the sudden drop, but she started to giggle so he remained seated on the couch, leaning forward to lean on his knees, watching her.
“Now that...was hot..” he declared smugly, clapping his hands a little. But his face fell when she started to groan. In a moment he had vaulted off the couch and was staring at her face, struggling to read it. After a moment he came to sit on his ankles, leaning in towards her worriedly.
"Oww....'M'onthefloor, floor's nice... Hey, Yuyukun, I think my foot hurts.... I broke it! I'm gonna die!" she cried loudly, laughing harder than before. He looked down at her foot, feeling more sober than he had in the last few hours. Reaching down to touch it, he drew back as though it was on fire.
“You hurt your foot, Erin!” he cried, suddenly disregarding the pain and lifting her foot and dropping it on his knees. He swore a few times (for her sake, because Erin didn't swear enough to get anything off her chest like that) and then ran his fingers through his hair. “Elelevated...up...eh, what else..call adult.” He turned to find Aidousan, who was still on the phone with his wife. “Hey, you!” he called out, specifying Aidousan with a colorful term and pointing toward Erin's foot with jagged movements, “She's hurt, don't you know? Help! I don't know...” To Erin, with a stern voice and an accusing finger pointed toward her, he said, “You should not be on tables, garried or not!” He whipped around toward Aidousan again, and saw Kagasan watching him. Furrowing his brow at Kagasan, he muttered, “Stop lookin' weird at me! She could be dying here! Jeeses..”

Kagayaki Aidou
"Niisaaaaan! Wave at me! I'm taller'n ev'ryone now! Hey! Hey! Lookit me, y'all!"
Kagayaki looked up, brought out of his daze by Erin's cry. "Hai?" She was up on the table. He started to smile, but shook his head. "Erinchan.... no..."
"Hey, I gotta 'nouncemen'!"
“A what?”
Kagayaki laughed, looking at Yukitokun. "Whasss'bout sssay!"
"Me 'n' Yuyukun are gonna run away 'n' mit garried."
His eyes widened. "Garried?" he gasped.
“Garried? But young we're too....ehh..”
He looked at Yukito. "Whasss'at, garried, yah?"
"M'kay? Hey, Yuyukun, let's run 'way to Ve--" That's when she tumbled off the table. Kagayaki jumped up and was about to go over to her, but his eyes weren't working right.
“Now that...was hot..”
He froze, slowly turning to Yukito. Something inside him didn't feel right. 'Of course he thinks that... he... he loves Erinchan... not me... remember? I'm not the one he loves...' He didn't even notice what was going on for a couple minutes, until he felt Yukito's eyes on him, and the dark sound of his voice made him jump.
“Stop lookin' weird at me! She could be dying here! Jeeses..”
Blinking, Kagayaki turned around and smacked his father on the arm. "Yo!" Hideo jumped, look confused. "Help my imouto!" he said without thinking, rushing to Erin's side. The bad thing was, Erin's side was also Yukito's side. That tense, nervous feeling built up in his stomach. "Ah... eto..."
"Elevate it. I'll be right back." Then he disappeared. Kagayaki bit his lip.
"Whasss'at mean?" he whispered to himself, looking around. Not knowing what else to do, he jumped up, got dizzy, then stumbled to the freezer. "Kaachan... would get... this..." He managed to get back to Erinchan and Yukitokun with the icepack he'd been using for his knee. Kagayaki hesitated at first, then put it on her ankle. Taking a deep breath, he smiled. "Help, yah?" He looked at Yukito, his smile faltering then becoming a little wider. "I do good, yah?"
Then Hideo-san came back in. "Here. Can't stay safe for a moment." He gave Yukitokun a weird look, then took hold of Erinchan's ankle and made something strange with some weird white material and some little sticks.
Kagayaki eyed it suspiciously. "Whasss'at?"
Hideo-san smiled and looked at him funny. "It's a splint. Just... a messy... homemade one."
Kagayaki laughed. "Whasss'at?"
Shaking his head and slowly getting up like it hurt, Hideo-san repeated himself in Japanese: "Splint."
"Aaaah," he breathed, then looked at Erinchan with a wide smile. "Better, yah? Better?" He followed father with his eyes. "Where goin', ne?"
"To call an ambulance."

Erin Spenser
"Hey, I gotta 'nouncemen'!" Erin called out loudly, as if she had to get the attention of far more than just three people.
“A what?” Yukito called, making her giggle hopelessly as she turned the camera to get a swaying image of herself. "Me 'n' Yuyukun are gonna run away 'n' mit garried."
“Garried?” Yukito echoed, using words Erin didn't recognize. The unfamiliarity and nonsensical-ness made her giggles keep going ask she asked, "M'kay? Hey, Yuyukun, let's run 'way to Ve--" Her words turned into a squeal as she stumbled backwards and tried to catch herself too late. The spinning sensation and wavy-looking ceiling that shouldn't be right above her head like that started making her laugh again, for the moment not noticing the swelling pain.
“Now that...was hot..” she heard Yukito say-- to who??-- just as the pain started to hit her. Where was it coming from?
"Oww....'M'onthefloor, floor's nice... Hey, Yuyukun, I think my foot hurts.... I broke it! I'm gonna die!" she cried loudly, laughing harder than before. At some point, Yukito had come to sit next to her, and she looked over dizzily as he touched her foot. It sort of looked like two hands and two feet... was it? Erin dropped her head back down, unable to stop smiling even if her foot felt bad whenever she moved it. "Hi, kareshiiii...."
“You hurt your foot, Erin!” he cried, moving her foot around somewhere. "Ow-w!" The clumsy movement made it hurt. Yukito started muttering stuff that didn't make any sense, and Erin turned her head to see him. "Yuyukun... what'reyou talkin' 'bout..." she muttered with what felt like a perpetual smile. It felt like her foot disappeared completely if she didn't move. "...hurt, don't you know? Help! I don't know...” he was saying. Who was he talking to? "Huh? What're you doin'?" She started giggling again when he pointed a finger or two at her. “You should not be on tables, garried or not!”
"Garried?" she drawled out in laughs, not noticing she'd mixed up her own words earlier. "I don't know no Garys!" Yukito was yelling something else that couldn't be to her, it didn't make sense, so she tried to sit up, clawing at the edge of the table for support. It made everything start tilting way more than it had been when she was laying flat. Her eyes just pulled up over the edge of the table and she looked around a little absently. "You took my cayam'ra... 's'sake left? I wan' a li'l... li'l bit?" Erin held up one hand, gesturing with her thumb and forefinger what a "li'l bit" meant, but in doing so, she slipped back down to the floor. The jolt shifted her foot, making another loud "owww!" come from Erin.
A bunch of noise was around her, Niisan and Yuyukun and what's-his-face all talking about her. "You're talkin' 'bout me," she called, laughing again. Soon an icy cool feel started coming from her ankle, easing the tension she hadn't really noticed was there before.
"Help, yah?" "'Z'at ice?" Erin responded, doing her best to hold herself up with her arms outstretched behind her, elbows locked. She squinted, trying to make out what was on her foot now. It looked funny, so she started giggling again. "I do good, yah?"
"Yeah..." she giggled out. "It's cold! I like it."
"Here," What's His Name suddenly said, reappearing out of nowhere. "Can't stay safe for a moment."
"Pfftt... I'm always safe..." Erin retorted bubbly, watching the movement of the ceiling again as she felt the fiddling around her ankle. "Owww... stop that!" she ordered through laughs. "I cain't quit laughin'...."
"Whasss'at?" Niisan asked, and Erin lifted her hand, one finger extended, in a sign of agreement. "I secon' the movemen'! What're you dooooin'...?"
"It's a splint. Just... a messy... homemade one."
"Splint," she echoed with more giggles, covering Kagayaki's question. "You're puttin' wood in me?! Whyyyy?" even though she knew that's not what he was doing.
"Better, yah? Better?" Niisan asked, smiling big. "Yeah.... lots better... all better!" she declared loudly. "You got a real cute smile, niisan, d'jou know?"
Kagayaki was talking to Face again... "What's his name?" she asked aloud, clumsily pawing for a spot in Yukito's lap and pulling herself there, using him as a pillow. "I drunk I'm pretty think now, Yuyukun.... Hold me..." She didn't say anymore after that, mostly because she'd fallen into too deep a sleep to do so.

Yukito Maki
"Huh? What're you doin'?" Oblivious to her pain, she started to giggle at his accusing finger pointed toward her. His head swam with the easy, painless feeling that was quickly turning into an insuppressible tease of irritation.
“You should not be on tables, garried or not!”
"Garried?" she drawled out in laughs, tickled pink that he would have said something like that. His brows knitted in confusion – hadn't she said the same thing? Or had he made that up himself? It was very silly... "I don't know no Garys!" Yukito didn't hear her, shouting over in frustration to Kagasan and his father for help with his – once again – disabled wife girlfriend. He shook his head, clutching his temples in his hands as he tried to clear up the cobwebs in his mind. He was so confused..
"You took my cayam'ra... 's'sake left? I wan' a li'l... li'l bit?" Erin held up one hand, gesturing with her thumb and forefinger, ending up slipping on the floor with a thud and a cry of, "owww!"
"Help, yah?"
"'Z'at ice?"
“I do good, yah?"
"Yeah..." she giggled out. "It's cold! I like it."
"Here," Yukito jumped out of his momentary stupor at the sound of Aidousan right next to him. The older man sent him a weird look. "Can't stay safe for a moment."
Yukito snorted, “You got that right...” Then he leaned forward and eagerly watched as Aidousan wrapped up Erin's ankle with sticks and gauze. “Ooooh...” he breathed, moving so that he was sitting on his feet with both knees curled up to his chest, leaning forward and precariously balancing at Erin's side.
"Pfftt... I'm always safe..." Erin retorted bubbly, "Owww... stop that!" she ordered through laughs. "I cain't quit laughin'...."
"Whasss'at?" Kagasan asked. Erin immediately lifted her hand and pointed directively, "I secon' the movemen'! What're you dooooin'...?"
"It's a splint. Just... a messy... homemade one."
“Sssssssplint...” Yukito said slowly, hissing out each syllable and watching Aidousan work trans-fixedly.
"Splint," she echoed with more giggles just as Kagasan asked, ”Whassss'at?”
"You're puttin' wood in me?! Whyyyy?”
Shaking his head and slowly getting up like it hurt, Aidousan repeated himself in Japanese, and though Yukito knew there was a slight difference between the two words, he couldn't pick out just what that difference was. "Splint."
"Aaaah," Kagasan breathed, then looked at Erinchan with a wide smile. "Better, yah? Better? Yeah.... lots better... all better!" Now his smile was so big Yukito wondered if it hurt him. With a single finger he couldn't resist reaching out and poking the overstuffed cheeks of his best friend, starting to chuckle like a madman. Another poke, and he threw himself off balance, teetering before falling back on his rear end, back into a semi-normal sitting position.
Erin had to put in her two cents with, "You got a real cute smile, niisan, d'jou know?"
Yukito calmly folded both his legs beneath him, sending Aidousan a salute of thanks, “Thank you very much, old man...I appreciate it too much for words.”
”Where goin', ne?" Kagasan asked his father, looking skeptical.
“Kagasan, you need another drink, you're so....” Yukito thought for a moment, his mind fishing for the end of his sentence. When the day's catch was nothing, he shrugged, “I dunno. You need more.”
"What's his name?" Erin asked aloud as she prepared a nest for herself in Yukito's lap, happily making herself comfortable. He expected the stiffening of his muscles to come, or the shift of heat to his head, but it didn't. And that made him smirk so broadly he felt his jaw crack.
“Aoww....”
"I drunk I'm pretty think now, Yuyukun.... Hold me..." He nodded, not knowing she couldn't see his head and definitely not aware that she was fast asleep. Both of his arms dropped around her, wrapping around her like a child holding his teddy bear.
“Sure thing, babe...” he said soberly, suddenly erupting into giggles at some random thought in his mind. He was sure it had something to do with the word babe, but he couldn't remember it now. “Meow...” he murmured, then jumped, almost jostling Erin out of his lap as he turned frantically toward the window. “Did you hear that? Oh, ****...Did you hear that?” He waited, listening, then let out a whiny cry of, “Meow..Meooow...” then burst out laughing again. Yukito slipped out from underneath Erin, peering out the window and shifting his weight from foot to foot so that it was almost as though he was bouncing. “I hear Chica! Let's go find her before the guys do!” He yanked at the window, but it didn't budge. Instantly, he frowned his disapproval at the wooden pane. This was definitely not a good thing. He pulled at it again, shoving it with his shoulder and all possible leverage, but it didn't budge. And his eyes could focus on the lock and make it clear enough to figure out. He slammed his forehead against the glass with an unceremonious thud, and glared at the lock, willing his vision to clear. It didn't, but his fingers did catch sight of it enough to determine it was an actual lock, so his heavy fingers found a way up to the window so he could start fumbling with it. Once it clicked, he snickered his jubilations and shoved the window, open and out within moments. He almost got his foot caught in the window frame, but even drunk he managed to fall out onto the grass.
“Nice!” he declared, punching the air and rolling over so he could stumble away, running as fast as he could on the spur of energy that had been caged up in the apartment. “Here I come, juven-place...”
--
Early the next morning.
--
“Crap...” he moaned, prying his cheek off the sidewalk. He couldn't remember much after Erin had passed out, but he was sure he had broken something before he'd gotten much farther in the idiotic, drunk stupor. Yukito swiped at the tiny bits of gravel stuck into his face, then spitting the remainder out. Ew...I ate gravel..and what else? Nobody was around, but it looked like he had stolen someone's household broom and held it in his lap as though it were a guitar as he sit on a curb in the shadow of an alley between a couple of apartment buildings. He blinked hard, unsure if it was wise or unwise to stand up and find his bearings. His head was still spinning, and he was sure it weighed about four times as much as it usually did. But either way, he had to get back and find the gang, and see if Erin was as....
“Oh crap!” He slammed his palm against his forehead as further masochistic payment the moment he remembered that he had abandoned her with a gimpy ankle. Or broken..who knew..they were all too drunk to be able to tell, even if any of them had any inkling of medical junk like that. Yukito stood up on wobbly feet, unknowingly taking the broom-guitar with him, and stepped out toward the road as the sun was starting to come up.
He almost fell back over. Apparently during a hangover he took to sunlight like bugs took to heavy electric bulbs. Swearing and blinking stupidly, he wandered off toward what he believed was the apartment that Kagayaki shared with his dad. “Some stupid night...I don't think that counts as an actual party, Sheeshus..” he grumbled, managing his way to the front door. Triple-checking the number, he knocked lazily on the doorway, expecting some slurred male voice to beckon him in.
Instead, he got a face that he personally considered one of the scariest in the world.
Kagayaki's mother.
She was fairly young, her lips pursed together in a permanently petulant expression, one hand on her hip, the other on the doorway. If the term 'dress for success' meant anything, this was a female persona of Rockefeller. What was the worst, most irritating part of her day had always been a scrawny, zombie-resembling Yukito Maki waiting on her doorstep, looking like a deer in headlights as he was now.
“What the --” She cut him off with a single, raised finger, and his mouth remained partially agape, staring at her. He expected a long reprimand, or at the very least, a well-oiled death threat.
Instead, she only seethed a single word, “You...”
He held up both hands defensively, quickly letting the broom clatter to the ground, “I don't know what you're talking about. I just got here...”
”Who's that, ne?” Yukito jumped at the sound of familiar voices that were not any of the previous drunken party. Two heads, one blond and both very mischievous-looking, peered around the tense shoulders of Kagasan's okaasan, grinning at him.
Yamamotosan and Matsudasan...?! The two former bandmates then shared a collective gasp of happiness.
”Ooh! It's Yukitokun!” Yamamotosan exclaimed.
”He's drunk, too!” came Matsudasan's cheerful decree, brushing back his bleached locks then a happily suggesting, ”Let's push him over!”
Before Yukito had time to react, he had gruffly hit the pavement with both of them on top of him, forgetting for a moment the mother-figure glaring from the doorway.

OOC: Just gonna skip ahead to when they all get there, okay? BIC:
Kagayaki Aidou
Ow. Ow ow ow ow. Running when he'd been drinking last night. Not a good thing. Then there was the whole vomiting thing. Great.
At least he remembered everything. That was a good sign. That way he knew what stupid things he'd done so he could apologize.
Or not mention them to the people that didn't remember.
He'd just stumbled through cleaning himself – and the bathroom floor – up when someone knocked on the door. Kagayaki dropped the towel. He'd left Yukitokun outside. He started rushing to the door when the motion hit him like a wall. He tripped and just barely managed to unlock all the locks on the door while standing up. When he got it open, he found someone that was definitely not Yuyukun.
Not that he wasn't happy to see her or anything, but... it was unexpected.
So, naturally, he fell backwards.
Trying to pick himself up – and failing – Kagayaki grasped in vain for a good excuse to appease his mother's frown. Nothing came. “A... ano... kaachan! Eto...”
She muttered something, shutting the door as she advanced inside. Her eyes searched her son – probably for injuries, as usual – then fell upon his father, head laying on the table next to a phone. It was making that weird sound saying whoever had been on the other line had hung up a while ago. Fureiya strode over to her husband like she was really upset. She probably was. Kagayaki slid back towards the couch, biting his lip, just hoping the wouldn't hit him or anything. She looked pretty mad.
“HIDEO!”
The man jumped up right away and looked around, one hand on his forehead and the other on his pocket like he'd lost something. “F...Freya.” Hideo-san was able to say it like an Amerikan, which was kind of weird, but they knew who she was. “Welcome to America.”
Fureiya smiled fakely. ”Welcome indeed. I came for a birthday party and just caught the hangover.”
Okay, so his mother was a genius. Neither of them even questioned her. They knew she knew, and that was enough for them to keep pretty quiet.
She sighed. ”And to think I brought along this wonderful surprise for my son, who's too busy TRIPPING OVER HIS OWN FEET FROM A HANGOVER TO EVEN ANSWER THE DOOR!”
Kagayaki winced, holding up a hand. “Kaachan...” She turned slowly, watching him with glowing eyes. “I... I'm the least drunk person of us all.”
Her eyes narrowed. ”'Us all?'”
Okay, that wasn't such a good idea to say. But now he couldn't get out of it. “Um... me, Tosan, Saikochan, and--” He was cut off by his mother putting a hand on her chest and gasping aloud. “Eh?”
”Tosan?” she choked.
He didn't know what to say at first. His head was hurting super bad. “Ah... yes...”
”I'm sorry, continue. Who else?”
Kagayaki hesitated. “...And Yukitokun.”
Well that did it. She rolled her eyes. ”I should have known.” Kagayaki opened his mouth to say it was his father's idea, but she put up a hand. ”I don't need you to plead his innocence. Just... keep quiet and enjoy your surprise.”
Raising an eyebrow as she went to the door, Kagayaki didn't know what to say until he saw someone come through the door. His face lit up, then he winced from the pain, and just ended up laughing at himself. “Tanaka-san!” Karyu joined in the general laughing at him when they saw him lying on the floor.
”What are you doing, otaku?” Tanaka-san muttered under his breath, walking forwards and pulling Kagayaki to his feet roughly. Kagayaki had to pause and gain his bearings, but he soon was laughing again, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder.
“I'm so glad to see you!”
”Yeah, whatever,” he laughed, ruffling Kagayaki's messy hair. He gestured behind him. ”Check it out. I brought your hentai twins.”
Kagayaki gasped. “No!” He pushed Karyu aside and – for real and for certain – there stood Nino-kun and Toma-kun. “AAAAH!” He threw his hands up. “Konnichiwa!” Their response was to glomp him and laugh uncontrollably. “I missed you!”
”We missed you two,” Nino-kun giggled, smiling fiendishly. "And we brought you a preseeeeeeeeeent~” Kagayaki sent them a look that was blank besides a squint of pain.
”Ta-da~” Toma-kun sang, producing a guitar case from the front step. Kagayaki let out a cry, reaching for it but unable to grab it in his current state. Karyu kicked the door shut with his foot, shutting out this new place. Without the outside world to remind him of where they were, it was almost felt like home. ”Not while you're drunk, senpaaaaai!”
He laughed. “You're so mean to me! I missed you so much!”
The cousins pulled Kagayaki onto his feet and helped him scramble over to the couch, working together to keep the guitar case out of his reach. ”So...” They smiled in a way that Kagayaki could only laugh at, since he knew what it meant.
“What?”
”Where's your Amerikajin girlfriend?”
Kagayaki frowned. “Is that why you came?”
They looked extremely disappointed. ”What? What's wrong?”
Karyu cleared his throat. He knew why Kagayaki was avoiding answering, and that made him the only one. ”Hello. This is kind of Kaga-kun's birthday. Not an excuse for your to drool over hot Amerikan girls.”
Nino-kun and Toma-kun pouted their lips. ”But...”
A tired knock distracted them. Kagayaki's mouth fell open. “Um... I should get that...” 'It's Yuyukun...'
Fureiya spoke up quickly. ”No, you let me get it. You're useless right now except to sit on a couch and pretend you're not useless.” Kagayaki frowned. That was harsh, but Kaachan was like that sometimes. She made her way over to the door, opening it with the cousins in tow. It only took one word to confirm it was Yukito. “You...”
““I don't know what you're talking about. I just got here...” Yes. Definitely Yukito.
Kagayaki put a hand over face, peeking out just enough to see his father sitting next to him. ”Here we go...” Kagayaki just nodded, closing his eyes.
“Who's that, ne?” Toma-kun asked, peeking around the door, his cousin right next to him.
“Ooh! It's Yukitokun!” Ninokun quickly let go.
“He's drunk, too! Let's push him over!”
Okay, that was kind of funny. Against Nino-kun and Toma-kun in joint power, Yukito was outnumbered by two and a half at least. They all went tumbling down, and Karyu's laugh confirmed it was a hilarious scene. Kagayaki was kind of too scared to look.
”Children. Boys. Young men. EXCUSE ME!” Kagayaki's mother got their attention after a while. They both jumped to their feet and mocked a salute, which earned them both a smack across the head in one swing. Of course they just laughed it off and returned to the couch, but they'd gotten off Yukito.
”Hello Yuyukun,” Karyu laughed, pulling Yukito to his feet with a smirk. ”Still in one piece I see.”
”Aaaaah Yuyukun! Where's your Amerikajin girlfriend?” Those two didn't skip a beat, did they? Karyu sent them a look, rolled his eyes, and sat on the other side of the couch next to Kagayaki – who had gotten hold of his guitar while they cousins were distracted and was now fighting them off as well as he could with a hangover and hands full of guitar.
This was gonna be some day.

OOC: Ummmm... if this doesn't work for y'all or it's not what you intended, let me know and I can change stuff up. Okay? (: And... sorry... Erin is cranky. >.< BIC:
Erin Spenser
The sounds of loud voices and noises shrugged Erin awake, and automatically her arm reached out in search of Yukito. Instead, she felt a cold sheet beneath her hand that send a terrified jolt to the center of her stomach as her eyes opened.
She had never seen this place before in her life.
Now thoroughly terrified, Erin bolted upright from the unfamiliar bed, the motion sending her reeling and all of the sudden, through the midst of her rising panic, she was keenly aware of just how sick she felt. "Yukito," she called, meaning for it to be loud, but instead it came out like a croak in her confusion. "Yu--" Erin paused, waiting for the sick sensation to pass, wracking her memory as to what happened. It was Kagayaki's birthday... she remembered, the image of his father at the door with a camera, and her laughing at Yukito's general ridiculousness resurfacing. Then the dots connected. Oh, crap... It couldn't be a good sign that she didn't remember much after that. But it did explain the awful hammering in her head and the sickness in her stomach.
But for now Erin would force herself to ignore it all as much as she could. She'd been alone, after who knows what, and had woken up alone, terrified, and confused, in a place she never remembered even seeing before, feeling like a truck ran over her. And where was Yukito in all this? I swear to God if he went home without me I'm gonna kill him, she thought, shoving the sheet that had gotten tangled around half of her off and swinging her legs over to the side. "Yuki--AH!" Halfway through her call, Erin's foot screamed under her weight and she hissed out a string of curses as she limped her way to the bathroom.
Boys' bathrooms didn't offer much in the way of primping, or comfort much in general. But she did the best she could, after making sure she wouldn't feel quite as sick any more, at least. A glance in the mirror still told Erin that she looked like she hadn't slept a wink, or maybe she had the flu or something. Or maybe she just looks as hungover as she feels, Erin thought at herself grumpily, trying to avoid putting her full weight on that foot. "When did that happen?" she muttered aloud, then went back into the bedroom where she'd woken up. The sight of the place where she'd awoken reignited her irritation at Yukito, and once more she called his name, furious with him for abandoning her when she needed him as she grabbed the pillow off the bed. "Yukito!!" she called, and this time it was loud. And obviously angry.
"Yukito!" she shouted again, face burning with her irritation, discomfort, and the stupidity she felt at limping and trying to be threatening to him at the same time. As soon as her eyes found Yukito, everyone else fading into the background, Erin hammered him with the stolen pillow. She pulled it back, and whacked his shoulder and torso with it a couple of more times with good measure. "You left me! I woke up without you and you left me! And my ankle's screwed up, and I feel and look like crap, and I don't know what happened, and you left me!" The last words were emphasized with a couple of more solid attacks with the pillow, the last one finally leaving her hands and falling between them.
Her moment in tirade over, the fact that they had company hit Erin like a brick. She turned, saw them, and felt the heat in her face (and the strain in her foot carrying more than its share of weight). A woman that Erin had a sinking suspicion was Kagayaki's mother, then a bunch of guys Erin had never seen before. At least, not in her recent memory. Her eyes widened, mouth falling open a little in her fluster, and Erin turned to shoot a glare at Yukito. "You didn't even bother to tell me there were more people here?! Yukito!!" She stomped her foot in frustration, but forgot it was sprained, sending a hot, twisting flash of pain up her leg and also sending Erin stumbling into Yukito, sinking a little. "Ow-w-w...."

Yukito Maki
The helpless tackle to the ground sent Yukito's nervous system to the roof and emptied his lungs of air, and he was sure he had just experienced his first heart-attack. Yukito heard laughter and felt sidewalk, then Freya intruded on the boyish laughter with her own warning. ”Children. Boys. Young men. EXCUSE ME!”
“Get off, you idiots!” he bellowed, tossing in a few crude nicknames in between their surprised giggles and grunts as his best friends searched for a spot to tickle him. At last, they released him, giving Freya a sarcastic salute that only got them reprimanded promptly. They vanished to the couch, smug and pleased with their antics.
”Hello Yuyukun,” Karyu laughed, pulling the still-stunned Yukito to his feet with a smirk. ”Still in one piece I see.”
“Barely,” he muttered. “Do I have a freakin' sign on me that says 'pummel me now' or 'it's clobber-time' or something?”
”Aaaaah Yuyukun! Where's your Amerikajin girlfriend?” Yukito looked over at the cousins, who sat on the couch next to Kagasan, who clutched his guitar protectively to his chest. After a dulled second through his headache, Yukito's eyes widened.
“Kagasan...? Where is--” He was cut off by the sound of a very familiar – and very irate voice.
"Yukito!!" she called loudly, the sound echoing off the walls and sounding ready to kill.
His face crestfallen, Yukito whipped his head toward the room that he figured was the source of the sound, “Oh crap,” was his only comment.
"Yukito!" she shouted again, limping out of the bedroom with her face beet-red with rage. Immediately, she saw Yukito standing just inside the doorway, and made more of a trail of fire than a beeline as she came at him with a pillow.
“Ah!” he held up his hands defensively, unsure of how to react to the padded and stuffy-smelling onslaught, “Erin! What are you--” The final word turned into a muffled sound as her pillow managed to find its way into his mouth for an instant, allowing him to hear her tirade accompanied by silence from his comrades, and the dull thud of the pillow against his head.
"You left me! I woke up without you and you left me! And my ankle's screwed up, and I feel and look like crap, and I don't know what happened, and you left me!"
“I'm sorry!” he called back, trying to keep the pillow from his head. He could already feel the pull of the static tugging at his hair and making it stand on end. “I was hopelessly inebriated! I don't even--” Thud. At last, the pillow slipped from her fingers and he snatched it up quick as a wink, clutching the former-weapon to himself so it was sure not to cause any harm. Like being used as a suffocation device. The strangest thing, by far, was that through his hangover from hell, through the fogginess and the embarrassment of being pillow-assaulted by an American girl in front of his best friends and Kagayaki's parents...was that he found her just as endearing as ever, and had a hard time fighting a smile that twitched at the edge of his lips.
He peered tentatively over his pillow at Erin, who in turn was looking around at the company as if she hadn't noticed them there before. Her eyes widened, mouth falling open a little in her fluster, and Erin turned to shoot a glare at Yukito. "You didn't even bother to tell me there were more people here?! Yukito!!"
“You didn't give me a chance, you just shoved your pillow in my face!” he snapped at her, his words quick and irritable.
She stomped her foot in frustration, then, remembering her injured leg, fell against Yukito. Automatically, he caught her, trying to lift her as much as possible and keep her weight off her foot. "Ow-w-w...."
For a moment, he just stared at her, still dumbfounded. Then, he let out a sigh. “I'm sorry... I shouldn't have left you. But I swear to God I don't remember anything past you passing out on top of me...” Another sigh, then he looked over at the on-lookers. “Fantastic party, Aidousan..” he muttered to the oldest occupant of the room. To the group on the couch, he jerked a thumb over his shoulder and told them in a deadpan tone, “Get up or die.” Once he had ejected the teenage boys, he led Erin to the couch, sitting closely beside her and rubbing his temples to clear away the headache. “Erin...” he started slowly, lifting one hand from his temple to indicate the correct face, “I'd like you to meet Tanaka Karyu the pervert, Tomashita Matsuda and Nino Yamamoto, the malicious cousins and ex-bandmates, and Aidou Freya...” he paused, let out a sigh, “Kagasan's mother.” To the group as a whole, he said in Japanese, “This is Spenser Erin... my girlfriend..”

OOC: We should totally wrap this up... This has been going on for a WHILE... xD BIC:
Kagayaki Aidou
”Children. Boys. Young men. EXCUSE ME!”
“Get off, you idiots!”
”Hello Yuyukun. Still in one piece I see.”
“Barely. Do I have a freakin' sign on me that says 'pummel me now' or 'it's clobber-time' or something?”
”Aaaaah Yuyukun! Where's your Amerikajin girlfriend?”
“Kagasan...?"
Barely listening to their words, Kagayaki zoned out until Yukito called his name. "EH?" he asked loudly. He looked up at Yukito, not understanding.
"Where is--”
"Yukito!! Yukito!" She rushed in and began beating Yukito with a pillow, looking scary as his mother when he tracked in mud.
Kagayaki's mouth fell open. "AH!" He tumbled off the couch, still holding his guitar, and hid behind his mother. "Scary Erin-chan!" He glanced up to see a not-so-amused look on Kaachan's face. 'Uh-oh...'
"You left me! I woke up without you and you left me! And my ankle's screwed up, and I feel and look like crap, and I don't know what happened, and you left me!"
“I'm sorry! I was hopelessly inebriated! I don't even--”
That's when Erin realized there were other people standing in the room, one of which was staring at her in terror, four of which were gaping with hilarious expressions -- this number including the also 'inebriated' Hideo-san -- and one of which looked about ready to spread fire of her own.
"You didn't even bother to tell me there were more people here?! Yukito!!"
“You didn't give me a chance, you just shoved your pillow in my face!”
Upset, Erin-chan stomped her foot. Kagayaki winced when he saw the pain on her face. Wrong leg... "Ow-w-w...."
“I'm sorry... I shouldn't have left you. But I swear to God I don't remember anything past you passing out on top of me...”
The cousins let their mouths fall open. "SO DESU KA?!?"
Fureiya quickly swooped in and smacked them, a coarsely whispered 'HENTAI' hidden by her hand hitting their thick skulls. Then she turned back to Kagayaki with a glare. He sauntered over to the table, following his father. They knew to stay out of the way. Karyu was close behind them, though he was smiling.
“Fantastic party, Aidousan..”
"You're welcome, lover boy," Hideo muttered. Fureiya swooped in again, this time after her husband. He nodded as she whispered at him. "Yeah, yeah, I get it..."
Yukito got the cousins off the couch and sat Erin down, slowly introducing them. "I'd like you to meet Tanaka Karyu the pervert, Tomashita Matsuda and Nino Yamamoto, the malicious cousins and ex-bandmates, and Aidou Freya...” Kagayaki had to smile at the way he hesitated there. Him and Hideo exchanged a look that earned them a smack across the head, but it was worth it. “Kagasan's mother.” Then he switched to Japanese: “This is Spenser Erin... my girlfriend..”
"Ah..." Karyu was the first to move. He rose and crossed the distance between them, extending a hand to the girl he was pretty brave not to be scared of. "It's good to finally meet you. I see why Kaga-kun was so eager to come out and get you two back together..." He smirked. "I like the way you handle him. Keep it up."
The cousins peeked around Karyu, smiling maliciously. "Hado..."
Kagayaki watched his mother push all of them back to get to Erin-chan. "Spenser-chan." She bowed easily, reminding them all what an art it was back home. "Aidou Fureiya. Call me 'Aidou-san', if you please." Her accent was thick, but she made all their mouths fall open by speaking English. It sounded like she didn't know the language well -- which made sense; his mother hadn't spoken a word of English before, as far as he knew -- but she could still communicate better than her son, even if that wasn't saying much. Extending her hand and, with a smile as thick as cold syrup, Furieya looked between Yukito and Erin. "If you please, no 'talks' when company is come. Is not proper."

OOC: okay I try!! ^.^ BIC:
Erin Spenser
"You didn't even bother to tell me there were more people here?! Yukito!!"
“You didn't give me a chance, you just shoved your pillow in my face!” Yukito snapped back, making Erin let out a noise of frustration with him. Without thinking, she smashed her foot against the floor and immediately remembered what a very dumb idea that was. "Ow-w-w...." Erin groaned, letting Yukito take some of her weight. She was pretty sure she'd sent it into swelling again.
“I'm sorry... I shouldn't have left you. But I swear to God I don't remember anything past you passing out on top of me...”
Some of their onlookers exclaimed something in Japanese that Erin was pretty sure reflected her own surprise. "I did what where?" she muttered to him, eyes wide. "Why'd you let me?" she whined again, her face contorting in discomfort. It was hard not to whine a little when she woken up so confused, had a throbbing ankle to match her throbbing head, and her stomach hurt, and she was in front of all these new people making a total fool of herself.
Yukito took her, limping, to the already full couch, ordering things in Japanese that must have made the guys sitting on it hop off, because the couch was now free for her. Feeling the heat in her ankle refusing to let up, Erin gingerly let it rest on the table in front of her, Yukito sinking down to sit beside her.
“Erin...” he started slowly, pausing his attempt to alleviate his headache so he could gesture properly. “I'd like you to meet Tanaka Karyu the pervert, Tomashita Matsuda and Nino Yamamoto, the malicious cousins and ex-bandmates, and Aidou Freya...” he paused, lthe added, “Kagasan's mother.”
Erin tried taking in all the new faces, attaching names to them, but it was hard. Really hard... foreign names, the lot of them, plus her half-groggy headache wasn't helping anything. She gave an unsure wave with her hand as Yukito spoke in Japanese, though she could recognize what he said this time. He was telling them about her, and in his language, and to his friends, and for some reason despite how crappy she felt, that brought a smile to her face. "You're talking about me," she confirmed, smiling demurely and leaning to rest her side against him.
"Ah..." Erin couldn't remember the guy's name, but she remembered Yukito had called him the pervert. He held out his hand to her and Erin took it, still feeling slightly confused. "Hi?"
"It's good to finally meet you. I see why Kaga-kun was so eager to come out and get you two back together..." He smirked.
"Why, 'cause I bring him into a one-sided pillow fight?" she asked wryly.
"I like the way you handle him. Keep it up."
"Um, okay," Erin giggled out. It was weird meeting all the people she'd heard about like this... "Um... I don't remember your name, already... Why did Yukito call you the pervert?"
"Hado..."
"Hi," Erin waved. "I can't remember your names yet, either...."
Kagayaki's mother-- what was she, Mrs. Aidousan?-- anyway, she moved them out of the way and introduced herself. "Spenser-chan." She bowed, and Erin felt like she should, too, but sitting down with her foot stretched out, well, that wasn't going to happen, so she just gave a little nod, feeling like she was doing everything wrong. Erin remembered that Yukito said Kagayaki's mom hated him... she'd probably hate her, too. And for some reason, that bothered her. "Aidou Fureiya. Call me 'Aidou-san', if you please," she said, though heavily accented so that Erin had to watch her lips closely to really catch everything.
"Hai," she tried. "Aidousan." Then her question occurred to her again, and Erin looked between both of Kagayaki's parents. "Aid-- but..." She leaned over to Yukito and asked quietly, "How do they know which one I'm talking to if they have the same name?"
Suddenly this Aidousan's hand was practically between them, and she looked up with that feeling of just having been caught doing something bad during a final exam or something. Even if she was smiling... "If you please, no 'talks' when company is come. Is not proper."
"Um.. okay.. do--, uh, I mean... gomen nasai?" She gave a smile gesturing "I'm not really sure what I'm saying here!" with her hands. Then she started twirling her hair nervously around one of her fingers. "This isn't how I wanted to meet y'all," she muttered. "I mean, I've been wanting to, I used to bug Yukito about it, too, but I didn't think-- I mean, I didn't know you all would be here now..." When I look and feel like crap... it's not fair... Now you're all gonna think Yukito is dating trash or something... and he announced to everyone I passed out on top of him, and I don't even remember doing that! Without even thinking, Erin let out a little whimper and gently laid her head against Yukito. "Yuyukuuun...."

Yukito Maki
His head was pounding and he couldn't see straight, the feeling of vertigo about to shove them both over. In addition, wherever Erin had gotten that pillow, it had not been the sweetest-smelling substance on the planet. “I'm sorry... I shouldn't have left you. But I swear to God I don't remember anything past you passing out on top of me...”
"SO DESU KA?!?" came the unified cry, as Yukito's hands flew to his face, to hide the cherry-red shame as well as to massage his screaming temples. He swore under his breath, willing the company away. Of course it hadn't been like that, but there was no convincing any of them, and he knew it.
"Shutup!" he yelled at his friends, still growling and irritable.
"I did what where?" Erin muttered to him, eyes wide. "Why'd you let me?"
"Let you?!" he grumbled to himself incredulously, stepping up to take some of the weight off her foot and taking her to the couch, kicking the teenagers off to let his girlfriend sit instead. To Kagayaki's father, he muttered, “Fantastic party, Aidousan..”
"You're welcome, lover boy," Aidousan muttered in due response, earning a smack from his wife. He nodded as she hissed in his ear, "Yeah, yeah, I get it..."
“Erin...” he started slowly, pausing his attempt to alleviate his headache so he could gesture properly. “I'd like you to meet Tanaka Karyu the pervert, Tomashita Matsuda and Nino Yamamoto, the malicious cousins and ex-bandmates, and Aidou Freya...” he paused pointedly, then added, “Kagasan's mother.” Erin gave a demure little wave, looking mind-blown by the tsunami of Japanese that had swooped into the apartment overnight. To the gang, he said collectively, “This is Spenser Erin... my girlfriend..”
"You're talking about me," Erin stated matter-of-factly, a smile on her face as she leaned against him. Yukito's look of surprise was genuine, but he had a hard time not smiling himself as he wrapped a protective arm around her shoulder. "Yeah..."
"Ah..." Karyu swooped in with a smile that thought it knew all, holding out his hand to Erin, which she took.
"Hi?" Erin peeped, hesitant.
"It's good to finally meet you," Karyu said carefully, "I see why Kaga-kun was so eager to come out and get you two back together..." He smirked.
"Why, 'cause I bring him into a one-sided pillow fight?" she asked wryly. Yukito was unable to hold back a snort. Secretly, yeah...it was one of the reasons he loved Erin. It would have been a lot more enjoyable if he hadn't been the only target, though.
"I like the way you handle him. Keep it up." Karyu finished, making Yukito send the older boy a glare.
"Handle?" he muttered the English word with a wordless challenge. Erin found the statement amusing, though, giggling despite their collective zombie state.
"Um, okay. Um... I don't remember your name, already... Why did Yukito call you the pervert?"
"Because that's what Karyu is." Yukito snarled, "He likes to give adult magazines as birthday gifts to his juniors. 'For education's sake'..."
"Hado..." Next came the cousins, twin impish grins marking their faces for trouble and plenty of well-earned blame.
"Hi," Erin waved. "I can't remember your names yet, either...."
"How about we get permanent markers and write on their foreheads?" Yukito said quietly, more than a little serious about the suggestion.
Then, swooping in like a mother eagle ready to get some prey to feed her young, Aidousama took her turn. "Spenser-chan." She bowed, and Erin gave an attempt at returning the gesture, "Aidou Fureiya. Call me 'Aidou-san', if you please," Yukito felt an indescribable urge to punch a wall at her broken attempts at English. He also wanted to kick himself - how long had she been able to understand enough to speak a full sentence? He knew he'd said some very colorful things in English while she had been there, thinking she wouldn't understand it. If she'd secretly known English all right since before that, then a lot of abuse was now explained.
"Hai," Erin mumbled hesitantly, obviously put-out by the strange, domineering formality that emanated from the old woman. "Aidousan." Then Erin looked between both of Kagayaki's parents. "Aid-- but..." She leaned over to Yukito and asked quietly, "How do they know which one I'm talking to if they have the same name?"
Yukito paused a moment, realizing he'd never had the opportunity to call either of them while both was in the room, himself. The thought distracted him, and he muttered absently, "Context is a wonderful thing, I guess.." he shrugged, keeping one eye on the old woman. He still fought an instinctive jump when her hand extended, trying to come between them.
"If you please, no 'talks' when company is come. Is not proper." Aidousama said with a smile. Yukito's previous look of seriousness darkened into a grouchy frown.
"Um.. okay.. do--, uh, I mean... gomen nasai?" Erin, still trying to keep up her usual optimistic attitude, despite all, gave a little smile and started to play with her hair. "This isn't how I wanted to meet y'all, I mean, I've been wanting to, I used to bug Yukito about it, too, but I didn't think-- I mean, I didn't know you all would be here now..."
"We'll talk where we want to," Yukito cut in crossly, sending Aidousama a glare. "America is a free country, if you please." The snide remark was weakly guarded by a look of utter seriousness. He really wasn't in a mood to chit chat about what was proper and what was not.
Erin let out a little whimper and gently laid her head against Yukito, her voice weak and pleading with him. "Yuyukuuun...."
"Erin, we should go," he said to her, his voice automatically softening when he turned to her, "We can come back later. I'm sure if we don't, the band will start stalking us or something." Without waiting for her word of consent, he moved off the couch and picked her up off of it, a stony expression adoring his face until he came to the door, asking Karyu in a curt tone to, "Open the door, please." Over his shoulder, he found Kagasan with his eyes, pausing to say goodbye, "I'll see you later, Kagasan. Your parties are getting a little better, you know?" He started down the sidewalk, finding it hard to hide his unsure stumbling as he blinked hard, looking for the Volvo. "I hate that woman..." he growled, muttering a few choice words in any language at his disposal as he neared the car. He was sure the inside was hot and muggy already, and it was just going to be a fantastic end to a fantastic night and following morning. "How is your leg?"

Kagayaki Aidou
"Um, okay. Um... I don't remember your name, already... Why did Yukito call you the pervert?"
"Because that's what Karyu is. He likes to give adult magazines as birthday gifts to his juniors. 'For education's sake'..."
"I DIDN'T KEEP IT!" Kagayaki protested, suddenly yelling and making many of the people in the room jump. "Karyu Tanaka, Erinchan. Tanaka-san!" He smiled at her, and his father sent him a strange look.
'What? I hate being quiet for so long...'
"Hado..." The cousins peeked around Karyu with mischievous smiles.
"Hi," Erin waved. "I can't remember your names yet, either...."
"Nino Yamamoto and Toma Matsuda," Kagayaki piped up, proud of himself for remembering.
"How about we get permanent markers and write on their foreheads?"
Kagayaki's eyes went wide, and he looked at the cousins, then at Yukito. He hesitated, then, smiled. "YES! YES, DO!"
They smiled back at him, clueless. "What?"
"We're gonna write your names on your foreheads!"
Their eyes lit up. "YES, LET'S DO THAT!"
A look from Furieya silenced them, and she went over to Erin, introducing herself in English, asking to be called 'Aidou-san.' They were all collectively astounded that she could speak English -- except Hideo, who was wearing a rather proud smile. This was HIS doing, wasn't it?
"Hai," Erin-chan said, sounding put-out. Kagayaki frowned. 'You don't like my mother either?' "Aidousan." She looked between them, seeming confused. Kagayaki was confused about why she was confused! "Aid-- but..." She whispered something to Yukito, who answered her quietly.
"If you please, no 'talks' when company is come. Is not proper." Her smile was gentle, especially for her, but Yukito was still glaring at her.
'She won't hurt you, Yuyu-kun... Not unless you deserve it.'
"Um.. okay.. do--, uh, I mean... gomen nasai?" Erin-chan seemed bothered by something. "This isn't how I wanted to meet y'all, I mean, I've been wanting to, I used to bug Yukito about it, too, but I didn't think-- I mean, I didn't know you all would be here now..."
"I did no know," Kagayaki laughed. "Is okay! They like you!" He looked around, nodding, looking for confirmation. They all helped out and nodded but his mother -- which could be expected.
"We'll talk where we want to." Grumpy Yukito... "America is a free country, if you please."
Kagayaki sent him a look. "Yuyu-kun... Stop..."
Erin seemed bothered too, because she leaned over and whimpered, "Yuyukuuun...."
"Erin, we should go. We can come back later. I'm sure if we don't, the band will start stalking us or something."
Kagayaki's mouth fell open. "I... no..."
Yukito ignored him, picking Erin-chan up and heading for the door. Kagayaki's face fell, and he clenched his jaw, trying not to be upset. "I'll see you later, Kagasan. Your parties are getting a little better, you know?"
"Hm." He refused to speak, his face becoming blank. 'You're leaving me again... You always leave me, Yukito... Why can't you just be happy for me?'
The door shut, and Kagayaki rose, causing his mother to speak. "Where are you going?"
He didn't look at her. "My room."
"Why?" Her voice was stern.
"I want to."
"No you don't."
He winced. "Yes, I do." Grabbing his guitar, he disappeared into his room. Kagayaki fell on his bed, sighing, his fingers finding the strings and playing aimlessly. Then he realized he was playing a song... that song he'd been learning for Cassie.
Setting the guitar on the ground, he laid his head down on the bed. "At least no one's mad at me..." Then he heard yelling from the other room and sighed as his friends flooded in, scared expressions.
"They're fighting..." Nino-kun muttered, wide-eyed. They all paused at once, looking at him on the bed.
"What?" he snapped.
The three of them all sat on the bed next to him, none of them saying anything at first. Then Nino and Toma each put a hand on his shoulder. "... Kaga-san?" He didn't answer.
"Want to gawk at pretty girls?" Nino piped up. Kagayaki rolled his eyes, unable to stop the smile.
"No, you idiots, he's hurting." Karyu's words made Kagayaki cover his head with his pillow.
"... What?"
"Him and Cassie broke up."
"...Ah..."
Someone poked him, so Kagayaki took the pillow off his head. Nino attacked him and hugged his head, making Kagayaki laugh. "I'm sorry!"
He shook his head as much as he could. "It's fine... Let go..."
"... Sure you don't wanna gawk at pretty girls?"
He sighed and looked Nino in the face. "Sure, why not?"
Kagayaki is done here. : )

Erin Spenser
"This isn't how I wanted to meet y'all," Erin muttered, twisting her hair around her finger, feeling another wave of sickness making her wrinkle her face a little. "I mean, I've been wanting to, I used to bug Yukito about it, too, but I didn't think-- I mean, I didn't know you all would be here now..." Now, she thought she was starting to feel like Yukito felt with the flu. Her stomach was threatening her, her ankle felt hot, and her heavy head was screaming, and the sense of vertigo didn't help any of it.
"I did no know," Kagayaki laughed. "Is okay! They like you!" A round of affirmations followed Niisan's announcement, but Yukito was still stuck on Mother-Aidousan's intervention.
"We'll talk where we want to." Erin cast him a tired look. Really? You feel like fighting now? Really? "America is a free country, if you please."
It sounded like Kagayaki was voicing Erin's exact thoughts, at least from his tone. But she didn't have the energy to support his words now, or to ask to make sure that's what he was saying... All she anted to do was curl up in a bed, shut out all the lights and sounds, and melt into sleep so she couldn't feel the throbbing and the nausea and the soreness.... She leaned over to rest on Yukito, making him her pillow. "Yuyukuuun...."
"Erin," Yukito said, "we should go. We can come back later. I'm sure if we don't, the band will start stalking us or something."
"I... no..." Erin heard Kagayaki start, and she hadn't even registered what either of them had really said when suddenly Yukito was up and pulling her into his arms. It didn't do anything to help her queasy state. "Uugh... Yu-- Yukito..." Despite the sudden shock and dizziness of being lifted into the air and then carted around, Erin clung tightly to her hold on him, her arms keeping her close around his neck. Unfortunately it wasn't a very smooth ride.
"I'll see you later, Kagasan," Yukito called back as one of the new guys opened the door. He finished rattling off something in Japanese that Erin was sure made her head hurt worse. She said nothing as he walked to the car, carrying her like she was totally lame.
"I hate that woman..." Yukito growled. Erin said nothing, she just kept thinking of how nice it would be to be in the car, or better yet in the darkness of a room, covered in blankets, asleep. She didn't say anything until Yukito asked her, "How is your leg?"
"My leg's fine, Yukito," she grumbled. "It's my ankle that's screwed up.... I can walk, though... you saw that.... Go, slow, Yuyukun," Erin pleaded, wincing at the movement that added to the churning inside. She closed her eyes and tilted her head to try to shield them more. "Turn down the sun...." She was quiet for a minute then she muttered sadly, "I don't remember... anything, Yukito.... How sad is that? What did I do?"

Yukito Maki
"Erin," Yukito said in an icy tone, "we should go. We can come back later. I'm sure if we don't, the band will start stalking us or something."
"I... no..." Kagayaki started, as Yukito lifted Erin from the couch.
"We can come back over later, Kagasan," Yukito added, more gently than he'd spoken since he'd walked into the front door.
"Uugh... Yu-- Yukito..." Erin clung tightly to his neck, making him shiver suddenly, but he kept a hold on her.
"I'll see you later, Kagasan," Yukito called back, wishing he could wipe the tortured look from Kagayaki's face. It wasn't like Yukito had just stabbed him or something. Couldn't his best friend see that, if he stayed any longer, all he would do was disrupt the already fragile situation? Obviously, his mother wanted Yukito gone. Erin and he could return later, when his mom wasn't there. "Your parties are getting a little better, you know?"
The door shut on Kagayaki's sad face, and immediately the hint of a smile on Yukito's face fell into a scowl. "I hate that woman..." When Erin said nothing, just sitting in his arms, he asked, "How is your leg?"
"My leg's fine, Yukito," she grumbled. "It's my ankle that's screwed up.... I can walk, though... you saw that.... Go, slow, Yuyukun," Erin pleaded, wincing as he left the curb. She closed her eyes and tilted her head to try to shield them more. "Turn down the sun...."
Yukito chuckled, "It hurts, doesn't it? Man, my eyes are still burning from when I woke up." He paused at the waking up memory. It hadn't been very pleasant. But at least Erin's was a little better. He helped her inside, crawled into the driver's side door, and wished he kept painkillers in his glovebox still. Instead, he pulled out a couple of extremely large sunglasses, handing one pair to Erin. "Let's just make it home alive, okay?"
The engine revved up, and Yukito reached over to habitually give Erin's seatbelt a testing tug. "I don't remember... anything, Yukito.... How sad is that? What did I do?"
"A lot, I suppose," he muttered, slipping his own sunglasses on and letting out a sigh of relief. "I don't remember anything after crawling out the window, but I do know you passed out on me after you'd fallen off the table. At some point, I think we called my dad..." He didn't realize what he'd said until it left his mouth, then he swore loudly, slamming his palm against the steering wheel, then dropped his face onto it. "I should not be allowed mechanical devices when drunk...D***..." Lifting his face up, he let out another sigh, "Oh, well. Let's just get home, alright? This party was long over.."
Yukito is finished here, I suppose? Unless sensei wants to continue it more..?

Erin Spenser
She closed her eyes, shifting her head to try to shield herself from the daylight as Yukito carried her. It was jolting sometimes, making her feel worse, but she didn't want to walk either... "Turn down the sun...." Erin grumbled, suddenly feeling all the crankiness surge back into her that she'd subdued during those weird introductions.
Yukito chuckled, his ability to do so only irritating her. "It hurts, doesn't it? Man, my eyes are still burning from when I woke up."
"Whatever," she muttered, then winced at the motions of settling into the car. Her hand immediately went to the lever that tilted her seat backwards, and swallowed the wave of nausea that came with leaning back so far. "I'm dizzy..." she muttered, turning to her side. She reached up one hand to take the pair of sunglasses Yukito was holding out to her, gratefully thrusting them over her eyes. It didn't feel like it did much good, but at least she wasn't squinting constantly. Supposedly it would ease the headache that way....
"Let's just make it home alive, okay?"
"Mmhmm," she responded, letting him do whatever he wanted with the seat belt. She didn't care enough to bother right now. "I don't remember... anything, Yukito.... How sad is that? What did I do?"
"A lot, I suppose."
Erin made a face. That didn't really answer her. And it didn't sound good, either. "Vague answer is vague," she mumbled.
"I don't remember anything after crawling out the window, but I do know you passed out on me after you'd fallen off the table. At some point, I think we called my dad..." Yukito must have just then realized what that meant, and Erin's shaded eyes widened as he swore loudly, slamming his palm against the steering wheel, then dropped his face onto it. "Ow..."
"I should not be allowed mechanical devices when drunk...D***..."
Erin closed her eyes, willing the shades to work enough that she could try to go to sleep. Maybe. "Phones aren't mechanical," she pointed out. "They're electronic...."
"Oh, well. Let's just get home, alright? This party was long over.."
"'Kay," she responded automatically, and for the first time Erin was glad Yukito drove like a granny.
