Audubon Elementary - 1 Viewing A school of about 350 students, Audubon Elementary is the first school on the street, all one story. The school's classes line each side of the building with a gym and cafeteria in the middle that separate the wings. Audubon Middle School The students from sixth to eighth grade attend this school, twice the size of the elementary school right next door. Six wings are in the school, labeled A-F, with a library in the very center of the building. Audubon High School The high school is one of the smaller schools in the area-- reduced to around 1,000 students after Katrina from its former 1,500. This school, as well as the others, is one story, but very spread out around the campus. There is a building for each basic subject, even though sometimes a lack of room requires that something like English is taught in the Business building. The campus is very open, but has very few places for athletics, despite the thriving football team.
