The high school is one of the smaller schools in the area-- reduced to around 1,000 students after Katrina from its former 1,500. This school, as well as the others, is one story, but very spread out around the campus. There is a building for each basic subject, even though sometimes a lack of room requires that something like English is taught in the Business building. The campus is very open, but has very few places for athletics, despite the thriving football team. (They practice on another school's field.)
