Zomigosh. I <3 that opera. It's one of the few I've actually read/watched the majority of so far. Because I haven't found many filmed operas you can get ahold of with a massive torrent. And the stupid local library won't let me get a card, because they are the fail. Who knew, around where I live the driving laws, loitering laws, etc, would be more lax. But the library laws are stricter? What the freak? ...man. I REALLY want to sneak into your class now. Isn't Papageno of the awesome? : D

YESYES. In the version I saw--Ingmar Bergman directed it or something, it was from the '70s. And in Swedish instead of German. Because Swedish is the awesome--Papageno was SAMWISE FREAKING GAMGEE. In appearance and mannerisms. HE WAS, I SWEAR.

I love our Opera teacher... we went from watching sweet, innocent Magic Flute to Carmen.

We're about halfway through the 1984 film adaptation of Carmen, and loving it so far! What's next after we finish this...who can say?

Ohno Satoshi is one of those people that make Japanese sound beautiful. :3
No, I'm not obsessed. XD Only listening to Ohnosenpai while I'm tired. : D I didn't drink coffee, but I've been up since 4am. Yeah. Because coffee is as addicting as Ohnosenpai, only it tastes funny.
No, I don't know for a fact that Ohnosenpai's flavor is better. No have I way to find out. But, if they're both as addicted as the other, why can't they have the same effect?
That's what I'd like to know. :3
SENPAI. YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL. : D
Oh, GGsensei! ILU! Just sayin'. : D

No, it's not an opera, but Opera-Teacher-German-Teacher-LSU-Grad-Man doesn't care...according to some people Oklahoma is considered a folk-opera...something along those lines... He has a Sondheim obsession, so we watch Into the Woods. We don't question.
