Bel Cibo, the Italian expression for "beautiful food", is a quaint restaurant whose food and atmosphere well reflect its name. The exterior isn't anything particularly striking-- a small place at the end of a series of stores and the like in an older shopping center-- but the interior is well-designed in the authentic villaggio italiano way. The area has about a dozen tables, covered in green tablecloths setting on a checkered tile floor. Lamps light the room brightly, contrasting the dark wood, and several deep green plants seem to flourish in their respective corners (or maybe they're fake).
While it's not the most upscale restaurant around, its pizza, ravioli, and lasagna are supposedly a local legend. A lighthearted and warm establishment with authentic food and atmosphere, Bel Cibo is popular among families, school clubs, the community theater, and sports teams' celebrations, so it's usually pretty busy on the weekends, but the owners will always try to accommodate. They'll also put your food to-go if you call ahead of time, and you can walk in for a quick grab-and-go.
