Character’s name: Liv Aldis
Character’s approx. age:17
Character’s physical appearance: Liv has big, bright green eyes and very short, choppy hair that is died black with purple streaks through it. Her small frame has earned the nickname ‘Little Mouse’ and she is extraordinarily thin for her age. She has an emo/punk style when it comes to her wardrobe and she is usually sporting multiple cuts and bruises.
Character's personality: Liv is very timid at times but she’s normally going out of her way to try and get her close friends to laugh. She doesn’t trust people easily but once she does, she is completely loyal, no matter what. But if you betray her trust, then she will want nothing to do with you. She is very jumpy, especially around her house and parents. And she is almost always very tired.
Two-paragraph sample post:
Liv Aldis
Liv took a deep breath as she placed her hand on the cold, brass doorknob of her parent’s house. She hadn’t seen her father’s car anywhere as she was walking up to the building, but that didn’t reassure her of anything. In her mind, there was always a cause to be cautious, careful and alert. No matter what. Shutting her eyes tightly, she held her breath as she slowly opened the broad door. It was unlocked, again; which was not a surprise to her at all. Her parents never bothered to lock it because the only thing that they thought they had worth stealing was their alcohol. But if the choice were up to Liv, she would buy around 20 locks for all the doors and screw the window’s shut. She liked the feeling of being secure and safe, unlike her parents.
Opening her eyes, she immediately noticed that the lights were off. A triumphant smile spread across her lips as she flipped the off-white light switch that was just within arm’s reach of the doorway. Looking around carefully, she saw that everything was a mess, as usual. Cans and bottles littered the floor; the only thing noticeably clean was the refrigerator, which was hanging wide open at the time. ‘That explains where they are today.’ She thought to herself while rolling her brilliant green eyes. Turning to close the door behind her, she silently savored the thought of having the house to herself… if only for a little while…
