I love banners! ^_^ Just saying.

The new Kagayaki banner is really cool, but I think I just need time to get used to the possible new AI. XD Like Cassie, I do not do well with change. But I like the pictures you chose and the quote is really fitting.

Re: the Kagamane banner (CUUUUUUUTE BTW) I think I actually like the first one best. It's simple style works for the banner, I think. The beams in the second one are nice but a bit distracting at times (or maybe I'm just to ADD for it...XD) And the beam through their eyes on the third one makes them look like ninjas. Which could work, I suppose, but something tells me it wasn't quite the look you were going for.

But opinions aside, I really like all of them, and am exicted for new ones. ^_^

So I'm stuck right now. Looking for AIs for the cousins/twins from Myriad of Horrors.

Nino Yamamoto is giving me trouble. His original Actor Inspiration was Kazunari Ninomiya of Arashi, but that's not a good representation of him I think. So I was looking at Takashi Kashiwabara and Kevin Woo but neither of them are doing it for me.

Just a note: Does this remind you of anyone?

Okay, so Toma Matsuda is currently still stuck with his AInspiration of Ikuta Toma -- catching on here, bbs? XD -- but it's just not doing anything for me. Thinking Kevin Woo might work better for him since he's been going with bright orange hair lately, but Toma usually is blond... So, yeah, I'm stuck here.

So any suggestions would be just great. Maybe it seems silly to you, but it's not to me. x) I'm very visual.

I definitely vote for the first one, MTM.

Made some quick avatars for characters because I was bored. Avatars are SO easy. Omigosh. These took about two minutes each, from start to finish. So don't expect anything fancy.

And yeah, I used Kagayaki's old AI, but that's because I want MTM to pick out some she likes to give to me so I can use them. If someone wants banners/avatars made for them by other people, they need to say something here and give a good, accessible AI. *hinthint*

Pretty! I'd have to say my favorite is the Liv/Natalie/Yukito one, because the text and pictures are subtle yet clearly full of emotion...which sounded a whole lot more coherent in my head, let me tell you. XD Natalie has UBER EYELINER OH MY GOSH...

And the one of Yukito by himself, for no real reason, makes me smile. Dunno why. The Liv one is pretty.

The Yukito and Natalie one is gorgeous. It just is and you know it. Don't know why I use that word, but I do. The one of Natalie just by herself is really pretty, I love the pictures and the sparkly special effect thingy you used.

I would LOOOOOOOVE to see a Chance/Liv banner, but I realize finding pictures might be difficult...but I think it's definitely worth a try. They're freakin ADORABLE. ^_^

Still haven't found Chance an AI, or I would SO do Chiv! ^-^ If anyone has suggestions, I'd be happy to see them. Just..eh...don't expect me to choose so easily. I'm extremely picky about my AIs. lol My babies just have certain traits in my head you can't erase. XD

Okies! In honor of Clarence FINALLY have a vaguely delicious AI, I decided to make sister a present of a banner and wallpaper for her baby. Her snarky baby. Who is my FAVE of her characters. He just recently passed Adder up. lol

Clarence Banner - Army Of One

In this banner, I give you two type of Clarence Morgans - one, a cop. Irony. The second, a ninja. COP-NINJA-CLARENCE WOAH. Anyways. No special effects here, really. Easy blend between two similar photos from the same photoshoot. Then I took the two images, made copies of them, and did this cubism thing where it makes the image into colored blocks, and that's what you see in those woulda-been-blank areas, in the bottom-right corner, and to the right of the left-hand Clarence's face(that's confusing. LOL. Image on the left. Just to the right of it. Something like that.) Then lots of fades and a checkerboard effect for kicks. It didn't look as SHABAM as I had hoped. =+=

Clarence Wallpaper - On My Own (And no, not from Les Mis. )

Because Clarence is a man who can carry off snowflakes? LOL I'm kind of regretting adding the snowflakes in, but meh. What's done is done, I guess. Did an effect across the image that makes little black and white lines that look like bar codes on products. So take of that as metaphorically as you wish, or not. XD Again, simplistic, and I'm not quite happy with the result, but hopefully MTM will just look at the pics and go YAAAAY and forget the effect usage. OTL Haha...


Yukirin Banner - Selfish Love


Aaaaaand another Yukirin. Because I found pretty pics. The AI in this one for Yukito is actually from Alice Nine, while the lyrics are by Miyavi(translated, I'd find you the link but I keep losing them. =_=). I think it's Hiroto, but I'm not positive. Anyways. He's pretty. And, as always, so is Selena Gomez. X3 I thought the lyrics were perfect. But I had to cut some out because they were all too good! I kinda wish I could have made the final words (from SELFISH LOVE onwards) bigger, but there wasn't enough room. T___T
On this banner are actually a plethora of effects. I went a little crazy. I did some larger, B&W cubism copies of the images, which if you look, are those strange box-like things you see faded in all subtle-like. There is also, obviously, a sheet music image faded in, as well as a couple of others I can't remember. =+= Oops. I'm pretty sure I used a gradient to mix the two images, which was difficult, considering his had a totally black background, and hers had white with WINGS on it. Betchya can't see them, huh? ;3 Used some desaturation on the images because Yukito's already was b&w, then edited the levels on each until they matched. Also messed with other levels I normally don't mess with, lightening the images instead of just making them contrast, like I normally do. ^.^ So you can see the pretty face details more.


I'm a sucker for huge, HQ graphics for this reason - it automatically makes everything look better, it's easier to work with so far as blend lines, fade outs, special effects, etc, and also...because you can get closer into those faces. The closer you get to a face, the more dramatic a pose looks. The more dramatic a pose looks, the easier it is to draw out that emotion and make a GFX impactful. <(^_^)> Yaaaay! ~<3~

Now I go see if stray kitty will cuddle with me or run from my bed when I get in it. She's been sleeping there while I worked on these. Let me know what you do and do not care for in these works, kk? Let me know your fave and least fave, and what you think should be better. ^.^ I like feedback.

LAHVE Clarence wallpaper. His banner is pretty much cool because of the injoke we added to it. xD But I do like the words you put on it. Veeery nice.

You know the only reason I'm not in love with the Yukirin banner. BUT I'M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THE MUSICAL NOTES BACKGROUND THINGY. YESSS~ Like how you kind of overlapped her but not her face, though I personally might have covered her face just for the effect. Personal thingy though.

BUT, since you asked for feedback, I guess I'll say something. Your fonts are the biggest issues I have with your work. Some of them are just... not easily legible. Like, the Clarence banner you just made, that's cool but legible. But the wallpaper, the only thing I really dislike about it is how the font and the rest of the wallpaper don't really match because it's too fancy. Get my drift? And the Yukirin banner would be better off if that font wasn't so bold... wonder if you could change that maybe.

I kinda wished I had left the space to either side of them empty...meh...but it looked weird. BTW, YES. I used their actual AIs in this. Their positions, and the lighting, all really wanted to make it hard to blend the two images to make it look like they were sleeping in each other's arms. I see so many mistakes in this, but it was a hearty attempt on my part. OTL Admit it, they look cute together.

And that is the most stark and vivid colors I have used on ANY banner before. ROTFL
