Work wasn't especially interesting. He'd hoped to find lots of interesting people around here, but it wasn't doing it for him yet.
He'd been 'patrolling' for a while, then he was caught by someone who insisted on saying everything to him very, very slowly. Raiu was getting appalled looks from the other waiters, and some off-handed comments about his patience.
'Pft, try living with my cousin,' he wanted to tell them. 'This is nothing.' Instead, he just smiled, shrugged, and told them it was no problem. At least he was getting paid for it.
Unlike living with Clarence, which cost him instead.
He'd just left them their check when he got tapped gently by Dalila. Raiu turned.
"Please get that table for me," she said in her normally quiet way, gesturing towards a table where someone was looking at their menu. "I need to seat a couple more people." He shrugged, then nodded.
"No problem."
She smiled thankfully, going off to receive a pretty-looking couple a few tables down.
Raiu sighed, looking over. The menu was not hiding the person's face from here, and he felt a little smile come onto his face. He drew out his notepad and walked over, pulling his pencil out and leaning against the table. "What can I get for you today, Captain?" He peeked over to see her face. "It's been a while."
