I'm thinking... the Square, but you're already there, so if that's no good, I guess Baskin-Robbins would work.

You guys make me feel so weird, being the last one to post so many times... But I wanted to let you know that Clarence is, technically, already deployed, so he can't be in any recent interactions on the board - excluding possible phonecalls and otherwise connections, because he's deployed but not on-duty all the time. BUT, he can be in some stuff that was set between when he got back and a week or so ago. So, have fun. I know Poppy posted for me at the Library, and I owe for Lilith/Brian and Kagamane PRPs, but I think that's it... Poppy's starting the Clarence/Shelby. >:3

I fail. At life. I know. But I'm getting there! Poppy's Never-Ending List (It's Getting Shorter!) Wherever we decide for Shelby/Clarence (Ice cream, right?) Cassie's dad's--Cassie/Erin (shall we wrap this up, love? Maybe do an Erin's b-day interaction or something?) PRP--Cassie/Erin at the DMV PRP--Cassayaki phone call (DEFINITELY WRAPPING UP) PRP--Presby horseride Plottings are always welcome, but know that Poppy has homework and a never-ending case of senioritis. You have been warned. ALSO, I'm gonna bug Hana to come back here because Vikram has woken from his hibernation in my mind (or something) and is annoying me. XD

I owe at the Library and 2 PRPs that need to end...
KT is open for RP. I believe she's scheduled to stomp all over Yukito first, then Trent. Anyone want to get that started? :3

DDD: Where do I owe, guys? I am sorry, but I am not sure where I still am, so you'll need to let me know, if you please.
Christmas vacation would be a fantastic time to start a Christmas-y RPG! *hint hint* I am up for embarrassing Yukito and SUPER SUGAR HIGH Chance and hopeless romantic-ed Lilith for grabs, especiallyyyyyy...
Who wants to RP when Yukito goes looking for Christmas gifts, eh?

I think I owe you, you don't owe me... will get to that ASAP.
CHRISTMAAAAS <3333 You know I'd love that. : D But Erin isn't allowed to help Yukito shop for hers...

Where do you owe me at, so I can keep track of it? On here, I mean. lol
We could have Yukito trying to shop for their friends. I am sure Erin would be appalled at the gifts he and Aidousan have given back and forth in previous years. lol Or lack thereof. And he'll feel compelled to give her family gifts, or at least give an attempt. Kudos if you have Erin finding Trent a Christmas gift!

I'm owed everywhere that I know of... Baskin-Robbins(Clarence/Shelby), Library(Raiu/Cassie), Cassie's Dad's(Cassayaki). I have interactions to plan with Trent and Yukito, to set up those playdates with KT, so I'd like some feedback on that, but otherwise I'm open.

Hey there, I am SerendipityBubble7, and I just joined tonight. I've never done this before (on a large scale), Mascii encouraged me to try this site. Was going to post my characters profiles for you, GG, but I had a question for you first. My characters are twins, and I was wondering if I should post them separately, or on the same application?

Bienvenidos! (=
Re: twins, here is my logic: If one were to RP siblings (as Cassie and Shelby are on this site), one would both post and play them as separate characters. I think that this will still apply to twins, even though it has been done differently in different places. So, that was the longer answer, in short, your answer is: separately. (:
Look forward to your additions! : D

I recently communicated with Mascii and have been wanting to try once more to write here especially because I want Easy and Lilith to meet again under these different circumstances to see what happens. My problem is this: I'm not sure to what extent I should rewrite Easy, as he's rather a gritty character with a very dark background. Do I need to tame him down a great deal? I'm going to be reading stories to try to get into the flow of things.
Right now, I really need to keep my mind busy and away from a very painful tragedy. I know I cannot pretend it away, but, if I can keep my mind occupied, I won't dwell on the loss as much.
If I can't get Easy Tanner to work, perhaps I can find someone else who will. I was concerned about being so much older though that really hasn't caused a problem at TPO. I need to be kept busy with lots of plot bunnies!

Hello there, Mysti! I offer my condolences to whatever you're referring to in your post up there. And age differences aren't that important, in my mind. I've always been told that I'm more mature than my peers--in 2nd grade, I would hang out with my teacher at recess instead of the kids in my class. Yeah, I was a weird kid. XD Once Cat gets approved, I would love to set up a roleplay with you. I've got a handful of characters here for you to choose from--siblings Cassie and Shelby Wright (they're two separate charries, and my favorites of mine on this site, I believe) and Vikram Singri, although I haven't used him much and so I'm a little rusty with his characterization...and I think that's all I've got here, now that Yumi has gone back to Japan. Let me know if you're interested--their profiles are in the approved characters section, so feel free to browse if you haven't already. I'm looking forward to RPing with you, since I've heard so much about your awesomeness. And Merry Christmas! --- I owe at... Library for MtM (Cassie/Raiu) Multi-Purpose Room for Mascii (Shelby/Preston) Cassie's Dad's for MtM (Cassie/Kagayaki) Baskin-Robbins for MtM (Shelby/Clarence)

The tragedy is that my younger sister died December 9 sometime while she was sleeping. We still do not know cause of death, but I think it must have been her heart and the stress of her job. She was born with a weak heart, but she had been a surprisingly fit person throughout her life~until very recently. Following a bout of flu last year, she simply never recovered her strength. That and a highly stressful job at which layoffs were a constant threat may have been too much for her. So, I hope that RPing and keeping busy will keep my thoughts from straying too much.
I was a mature child but am a kiddish adult, which they say is common in ADHD. I learned I had it rather late in life and have never taken medication for it. I suppose I just learned to deal with it along the way. As a little girl, age 4, I learned to read; my parents used a book about dinosaurs, which started a lifelong love of the critters. At 4, my burning ambition was to become a paleontologist and to go to the Gobi Desert to work with Roy Chapman Andrews. Of course, back then, I didn't realize that RCA was long gone. He was my first hero, and I was delighted to discover that he is the basis for Indiana Jones! In grade school, instead of playing, I would sit on a gravel pile and search for (and find!) fossils, some of which I still have. Now, I'm a big ol' kid at times, having lived a surprisingly sheltered life, which is at contrast with my main character, Easy Tanner aka Cat aka Alleycat aka Kitten, depending upon his mood and whose company he's in.
Maybe once I'm settled in, I'll introduce more characters. Until then, I'll happily accept offers of RPing with Easy, as he is my oldest (creationwise) character. He still surprises me occasionally, but I generally have no problems "channeling" him. I didn't realize that I was giving Mascii a crash course in RPing when Easy and Lilith met in the stables at Opera Populaire.
I've been reading descriptions of various threads to try to map this out in my mind. One question I have is this: Do I need to set up a place for Easy to live? Yes, he could be on his own, but, if he's just arriving, he'd be living with his guardian. Wherever Chance resides will be rather lavish though not necessarily upper-crust, as Rafe Chancery is nouveau riche, not old money as his business partner/best friend Jamil Mehmet is. We're talking millions with Chance and far more with Jamil. I don't know if either of those men will be allowed to appear in a scene. I'm used to Alter Egoing, which is done in letterwriting; each of us has a cast of characters, meaning our stories become very complex and grow rapidly. I've not seen that done anywhere on the Net.
Sooooo, how do we do the living quarters here?
I hope that Easy will be OK'd because I would love to get some meetings set up. Things have been very slow at TPO, even with a gala event under way.
Now, I'm going to look around some more and do some reading of profiles and scenes.

Oh, Mysti, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. My mother lost her younger sister about four years ago, so although I don't know exactly where you're coming from, I can sympathize. *hug*
I have a feeling we're going to get along. [/Oliver moment] I learned to read very young as well, and I was even a fan of dinosaurs too when I was young! I had a book full of facts and such that I took everywhere with me. I have a picture of myself standing in front of a Triceratops skull at the Field Museum in Chicago when I was about three--I look ridiculously tiny compared to the dinosaur, it's rather funny. Apparently I spouted off facts to people at the exhibit, even though I don't remember it at all. I'm sure they were slightly alarmed to see a toddler being so vocal about dinosaurs...XD
Ah, well, you never forget your first character, right? Mine's over at Mascii's site Phantomfaces, although I haven't used her in a while. Slightly Mary-Sueish, looking back, but I'm still fond of her.
As to your questions, it's not necessary for you to make a house thread for Easy unless you think you'll have interactions there in the future with other characters. Sometimes it's nice to make them anyway just so you have a reference to go back to should you need it, but really it's totally up to you. As to which neighborhood you should make the thread in, I would suggest either the Lower Gardens district or the Country Club gardens (both in the 'Neighborhoods' subforum), since both of those are more affluent neighborhoods to live in.
Secondly, it's totally okay for those two to appear in scenes with your character! We call them NPCs. Non-Player Characters. They're in the background and you can include dialogue with them and the character you play, but the post stays in the POV of your character--in this case, Easy. Some people use NPCs more than others, but I use them constantly--mostly family members and friends of my characters. For my characters Cassie and Shelby especially, I have their whole family appearing in various places (you may have seen them depending on what you've been reading)--mother, father, brother, stepmother, even step-cousins. I find thinking about those characters helps to figure out who my characters really are as people, you know?
I'm sure that Easy will be approved, but since GG is on vacation I'm not sure when that'll be. Soon, though, don't worry. Until then, I'm here to talk and answer any other questions you might have. (Wow, I feel as if I sound like a tour guide or something. XD)
Random slightly off-topic question: What is TPO?
