Just logged in to say I just heard a study about couples with pet names... apparently pet names signify exclusiveness and intimacy in a relationship, and the intimacy is even deeper if those pet names and inside expressions are incomprehensible to outsiders... heheheeh. (:

At the moment I don't care one way or another about pet names, actually, except that I find particularly sappy ones rather irksome... exhibit A: "Won Won" in HBP... just... no. XD
