"How are you this evening, my dear?" "Very well--but I wish you would not call me 'my dear'." "Why?" "It's what my father always calls my mother when he's cross about something." "And what terms of endearment am I allowed?" "Let's see...'Lizzy' for everyday...'My pearl' for Sundays, and "Goddess Divine", but only on very special occasions." "And what shall I call you when I'm cross? 'Mrs. Darcy?'" "No. You may only call me Mrs. Darcy when you are completely, perfectly and incandescently happy" "And how are you this evening...Mrs. Darcy?" Just felt like throwing that out there.

x) That actually fits really well. Your Japanese Name Is: Yukako Saito ( Courtesy of BlogThings). Looked it up, apparently Yukako means 'child of Yuka', and Yuka means 'Fragrance'. Saito is the Japanese word for 'site' or 'website'. Fragrant Website? Um... XD Your Japanese Name Is: 小松 Komatsu (little pine tree) 美晴 Miharu (beautiful clear sky) ( Courtesy of Rum&Monkey) Yup. I'm weird. でも、ぼくわさきおですね. >:3

So. Long time no spam! Today, Project Term started at my school. For the first two weeks, i'll be taking Adventure Book Club in the mornings and rehearsing for the play in the afternoons (2 classes a day. 3 hours of one class, lunch, then 3 hours of the other, then home). ABC is taught by my favorite person ever, my AP English teacher. Adventure Book Club is basically pretty self-explanatory: We read an adventure book individually and do adventurous things as a class. Some of the things planned are hiking trips, kayaking, and scavenger hunts, among others. To pass the class (it's pass-fail, with an optional Honors grade thing too) we have to write our own adventure story and read our adventure book and do at least 3 journal entries on it as we read. We went down to the library today--it was raining so we took a bus, but we had to walk back in the downpour because they couldn't drive us back. My shoes are still soaked. For my adventure book to read, I chose Count of Monte Cristo, but I wish someone had told me how long it was...at the library I had to choose between the original version that could probably be used as a murder weapon ( ), the abridged version, or the super-abridged version, which was probably no more than 300 pages. I chose the second, just for the sake of time. I'm really enjoying it though...and for some reason, Count of Monte Cristo always makes me think of Mascii. Wonder why. XD

Hurhurhur...because Monte Cristo is too awesome to keep the conversations short, that's why! XD But yes, it is a very long, but fabulous book. It took me forever to read it because I'm such a procrastinator. Edmond reminds me later of an AU Erik from POTO, actually, so you SHOULD enjoy him. :3 I watch the movie most times, though. Which was sooo different. Especially by the ending. 0.o They went down a different road entirely.
Oooh...can a Mascii join your Adventure Book Club? ZomiGOSH that sounds fun! : D

I was listening to Les Mis as I read it during rehearsal today at school...XD It just seemed fitting for me. It's kind of difficult to get into, especially with distractions--I'm only on page 30 so far. But that's the approach I had when I read a lot of classics like that, I had to keep reading to get to the really good stuff. Like with Tale of Two Cities...I almost abandoned that until I really hit my stride. But yeah. My version, abridged , is about 600 pages and paperback, the super-abridged version was half that, and the original was upwards of 1500 and hardcover. Seriously. You could kill someone with that thing. I can already tell that Mercedes' character is gonna be awesome. And I'll try to watch the movie too. Sure Mascii can join! Just be warned that we've been having really weird weather and the class is full of very athletic people, which I am not! XD I'm still pretty excited though...except maybe for the kayaking. I've never been. .

Meh, I actually didn't like Mercedes' in the book so much. :/ But I'm pretty impatient with female leads, so... I can't figure out who she reminds me of, either.
LOL. I'm sure someone has once died from blunt object, with that blunt object being Count of Monte Cristo. XDD

I dunno about your AU Erik comment, but at the moment (Dantes has just escaped from that one prison island at the point I'm at now) he's reminding me of Inigo Montoya. Oh yes. From Princess Bride. And it's also reminding me of the summer when I read unabridged Les Mis. Why? Ginormous book in which time passes weirdly throughout (Really, Dumas? Two and a half months went by in ONE PARAGRAPH?) and sweeeeeeeeeeping descriptions.

Wrote a soooooong : D Actually, wrote MUSIC for a song. I wrote the lyrics last December and just found it today. www.mediafire.com/?ywjimovwmjmA little over 4 1/2 minutes, this song is played completely with my left hand, in about the 2nd/3rd octave of the piano. Vocals and piano are mine. MINEMINEMINE. Lyrics: This is not an attack You should know me better than that I've thought and said some things I'd rather not talk about But I still love you Call me crazy, I'll try to save you with this song 'Cause I've got this feeling that it will help you stay strong Maybe you're meant to be Maybe you should listen to me Maybe he's what he seems Maybe it's just a 'could-have-been' Maybe you'll see you're fading away Maybe you'll ignore me anyway Maybe I'll scream and cry tonight 'til insecurity washes my eyes Call me crazy, I'll try to save you with this song 'Cause I've got this feeling that it will help you stay strong Maybe you'll fall on your face again Maybe he'll just break your heart again Maybe you'll land on your feet this time Maybe he'll learn what you showed this time Maybe this is the start for you Maybe we'll find out real soon Maybe this will refresh our view Maybe you'll see what you do Call me crazy, I'll try to save you with this song 'Cause I've got this feeling that it will help you stay strong Call me crazy, I'll try to save you with this song Call me crazy, I'll try to save you with this song

hey hey mtm!! (: I don't know ANYTHING about piano, so I can't comment on that much... :3 Except.... is this a minor key?? : DDD I'm trying to get better at recognizing these things.... I really like the melody line of the chorus... and I bet my terminology is all whacked out.. .gosh, I need to take more music classes. lol. Maybe I will go to grad school and focus in writing about music... This is very pretty lyrically, too. ^_^ You have such a pretty tone, too, btw. (:

Thank yooooooooooooooou~ yes I <3 my tone sometimes. XD
I believe it's in a weird version of A minor. You know, where I put the A on the top instead of on the bottom? Something like that.

Um, yeah, I am musicology deprived and don't have a clue what you mean by A on top and not the bottom... I'm just proud I can recognize a minor key. XD

On a piano the lower notes on are played on the left side, as it goes 'up' or to the right of the piano the notes go up. So the piano notes are ABCDEFGABCDEF as it goes to your right. She means she is playing A minor as C-E-A instead of A-C-E. If that makes any sense. So basically she plays the A an octave higher in the A minor chord. MTM, remember those that play alternate instruments have a very different 'bottom' and 'top', and it's technically not on top of anything. Silly...

haha That's right, Mascii. Up and down isn't the same on a piano as a guitar. XD It's actually a weird G/Gm. The chorus goes (actual notes) : GD, GC, GD, GC, GC, GB, GC, GB. Then the stanzas are just, like, GF-GE or GE-GD or something like that. Pretty simple stuff.
