French Quarter
The French Quarter, also known as Vieux Carré, is the oldest and most famous neighborhood in the city of New Orleans, and the only area not to have any flooding during Katrina. Locals shorten it to just the Quarter, and it is home to dozens of music venues, bars, cafes, shops, and restaurants, as well as a few old neighborhoods.
